Essar Group, the Indian multinational petroleum company, had a well-established brand oversees however they saw the opportunity to enter into the UK market with its acquisition of the former Shell refinery in Ellesmere Port.

Following a recommendation, Essar contacted astley to discuss the concept of bringing Essar branded petroleum to forecourts across the UK. astley worked closely with the client to develop the design concepts and prototypes before full manufacture began.

Signage included curved totems, canopies, window manifestations and pump graphics.

Initially there were many demands on us as supplier however we worked with many Essar departments to make sure we achieved an end result that exceeded expectations.

We have delivered signage on five sites to date.
